Details
The IS200ERBPG1A is an EX2100 Exciter Regulator Backplane (ERBP) designed by General Electric. It is a part of the EX2100 series used in the Excitation control systems.
The Exciter Regulator Backplane (ERBP) is a fundamental component in EX2100 regulator control systems, primarily facilitating connectivity and communication between the various printed circuit boards it houses.
The board acts as a central connectivity hub, interconnecting all mounted printed circuit boards within the system.
It establishes vital connections and pathways for communication and data exchange among these boards.
The EPBP holds three independent EPSMGl power supply modules that supplylogic level power to the Ml, M2, and C controllers. It also holds three EGDMground detection modules.
EPBP is supplied with 125 V dc power from the EPDMhrough three cable connectors. Backplane connectors Pl and P2 carry power fromthe EPSM tO EPBP. EPBP distributes +5 V de,+15 V de, and +24 V dc power (from EPSM) to the con-trol backplane (EBKP) through cable connectors.
Power is also supplied to externalmodules as follows: +24 V de to power the de-excitation module, crowbar module, ground detector.dule(EDCF).and the field voltage/current solated +70 V dc the ExTB and ECTB board.
