Details
The IS200DAMEG1A is a PCB component created by GE for the Mark VI system. This system was one of the last of the Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management line released by GE before they made it obsolete. The Speedtronic line began in the 1960s with the release of the MKI and continued through the 1990s with the Mark VI and Mark VIe. Each of these systems used the best technology available at the time of their release to create reliable management systems that would integrate with the turbine hardware and increase their efficiency by minimizing downtime.
The IS200DAMEG1A is an Innovation Series Gate Drive Amp/Interface Card. The board is used to interface between the control rack and a power switching device, like an IGBT, located in an Innovation Series low voltage drive. There are six versions of these drives, of which the IS200DAMEG1A is the lowest powered. The IS200DAMEG1A has no power input and provides no amplification for the interface.
The IS200DAMEG1A connects to the control rack’s Bridge Personality Interface board via three connectors. There is one connector per phase. These include the APL connector for A phase, the BPL connector for B phase, and the CPL connector for C phase. The board has no fuses, configurable hardware, or TP test points.
It is worth noting the IS200DAMEG1A is soldered to the IGBT module. When this board is replaced, it should be replaced in conjunction with a new IGBT module (and vice versa.) Installation procedures for the IS200DAMEG1A board can be found in manuals or user guides from the original manufacturer. GE publication GEI-100262A also has information regarding installation of this board.
The IS200DAMEG1 developed by General Electric is a board component created by GE for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is part of the Speedtronic line of gas/steam turbine management system. It primarily functions as an Innovation Series Gate Drive Amplifier/Interface board that provides an interface between power switching devices of an Innovation Series low voltage drive (IGBTs) and the control rack. It is the lowest powered of the six versions of gate driver boards, provides an interface without amplification and has no power input.
This board connects to the control rack via the BPIA board and is featured with three connectors for Input/output with the BPIA board: APL for phase A, BPL for phase B, and CPL for phase C. It connects to the IGBT gate, emitter and collector terminals. This board is designed without fuses, TP test points or configurable hardware.
