Details
The Emerson PR6423/010-010 CON021 is a non-contact eddy current sensor designed for critical turbomachinery applications such as steam, gas and hydro turbines, compressors, pumps and fans.
It measures vibration, eccentricity, thrust (axial displacement), differential expansion, valve position and air gap on machine shafts.
Features
Non-contact measurement: The sensor does not require physical contact with the machine shaft, eliminating wear and reducing the risk of sensor or machine damage.
High accuracy: The sensor is accurate to within ±1% of full scale.
Wide measurement range: The sensor can measure a wide range of displacements, from a few microns to several millimeters.
Rugged design: The sensor is designed to withstand harsh industrial environments.
Easy to install and use: The sensor is easy to install and use and does not require any special calibration.
Linear measurement range: 2 mm (80 mil)
Initial air gap: 0.5 mm (20 mil)
Incremental scale factor (ISF) ISO: 8 V/mm (203.2 mV/mil) ± 5% over the temperature range of 0 to 45°C (+32 to +113°F)
Deviation from best fit straight line (DSL): ± 0.025 mm (± 1 mil) over the temperature range of 0 to 45°C (+32 to +113°F)
Measurement target:
Minimum shaft diameter: 25 mm (0.79”)
Target material (ferromagnetic steel): 42CrMo4 (AISI/SAE 4140) standard
