Details
The EPRO MMS3311/022-000 is a speed and key pulse transmitter, designed to measure the rotational speed of a shaft and to generate a key pulse, which is achieved by using a gear or a trigger mark on the machine shaft, and the two channels can be operated independently of each other.
The input of this transmitter can be used with standard epro eddy current sensors PR 6422/.., PR 6423/.., PR 6424/.., PR 6425/.., but not for use in hazardous areas.
It has many features: integrated signal converter per channel;
speed and key pulse measurement; signal input for eddy current sensors;
two redundant 24 V DC power supply inputs; complete electronic circuit and sensor self-test function; integrated microcontroller;
speed output is 0/4...20 mA (active zero point) and key pulse has a pulse output;
can be directly mounted on the machine; speed measurement has two limits and is adjustable in the speed range of 1...65535 rpm.
Its sensor input has two independent inputs for receiving PR 6422/.. to PR 6425/.. sensor signal pulses;
the frequency range is 0...20 kHz, and the trigger level can be manually adjusted; the measuring range is programmable up to 65535 rpm (limited by the maximum input frequency);
the measuring signal output includes a key pulse output and a current output proportional to the measuring speed (0...20 mA or 4...20 mA active zero point), the load is less than 500 ohms, and the cable is connected using cage clamp terminals with open circuit and short circuit protection;
the power supply is 18...24...31.2 Vdc direct current, which is electrically isolated through a dc/dc converter and the current consumption is about 100 mA.
