Since this board was designed with a microprocessor, it is important that the board be kept at a cool temperature to enable the microprocessor to function accurately and also to prolong the life of the microprocessor. Excessive heat can damage a microprocessor or lead to inaccurate processing. The drive must be installed in a location with clean cool air that is free of dust and dirt. If the drive is mounted on a wall, the wall cannot have heat-generating equipment on the other side of it.
