Details

The IS200BPIBG1AEB circuit board is a General Electric PCB designed as part of the Mark VI Speedtronic series.   The MKVI was one of the final Speedtronic systems designed and marketed by GE for the control of gas and steam turbine systems.  Speedtronic systems have been used as power management systems for over six decades.

The IS200BPIBG1AEB functions with an associated and connected Gate Driver board or boards to capture and report faults.  Some of these faults are processed onboard the BPIB board. The PCB also is used for signal conditioning via its P1 connector (located on its rear edge) to Gate Driver and Shunt Feedback boards.

The  IS200BPIBG1AEB is a rectangular board that has been factory drilled at each corner.  An attached front faceplate includes clips to keep the board in place within a VME rack once it has been installed.  The faceplate is marked with the GE logo and the board ID number

The  IS200BPIBG1AEB is populated with vertical pin connectors and stab on connectors for phase sensing signals and for DC-link signals (positive and negative).  The board does not have any associated fuses, TP test points,  or LED indicators but is populated with over 30 integrated circuits, three transformers, four transistors, and sixteen resistor network arrays.

The IS200BPIBG1 developed by General Electric is a Phase Logic Module manufactured for the Mark VI system for gas and steam turbine management series. The primary function of this board is to capture faults discovered by the Gate Driver boards and report the faults. The board also provides the signal conditioning needed to interface P1 connector logic signal controls to Gate Driver and Shunt Feedback boards. It was built with a narrow front faceplate and plugs into a VME type rack using the P1 connector located on the rear edge of the board.

It connects to 1various IGBT boards using six plug connectors located on the board. The board also uses five stab-on connectors to detect Phase A, B, and C sensing signals and dc link negative and positive signals. Most stab connections are located directly behind the faceplate. This board has no test points, fuses or LED indicators however includes a serial 1024-bit memory device that includes identification and revision information. The board has three transformers, sixteen resistor network arrays, three transistors and over thirty integrated circuits.

The IS200BPIBG1A is a GE printed circuit board component that acts as a Phase Logic module within the Mark VI series.  The Mark VI is one of the later Speedtronic systems for gas and steam turbine management released by General Electric.  These systems have been used for heavy-duty turbine management since the late 1960s.

The  IS200BPIBG1A is designed to capture faults found by the Gate Driver boards and report those faults to the boards that will process them.  Some faults are processed by the  IS200BPIBG1A.   The board is also used to provide signal conditioning to interface P1 connector logic signal controls to Shunt Feedback and Gate Driver boards.

The  IS200BPIBG1A is designed with a narrow black front faceplate.  This board has the GE logo imprinted on it. The  IS200BPIBG1A is designed to plug into a VME type rack.  This happens via the P1 connector located on the rear edge of the board. The board also connects to several IGBT boards via six plug connectors. Five stab-on connectors (located behind the front faceplate,) are used to detect Phase A/B/C sensing signals and DC-link positive and negative signals.   It is worth noting the IS200BPIBG1A has no LED indicators, fuses, or TP test points.

The  IS200BPIBG1A has a serial 1024-bit memory chip to keep track of the board identification and revision information.
