Details
The Bently Nevada 185410-01 Essential Insight.mesh Wireless System* is a wireless data acquisition platform designed to seamlessly integrate with System 1 classic software (version 6.90 or later).
This system enables efficient and flexible monitoring of critical machinery, particularly in challenging or remote environments where traditional wired connections might not be feasible. It creates a robust, self-forming mesh network to ensure continuous data transmission and reliability.
Key Components:
The system operates with three primary components that work together to establish the wireless network:
Manager Gateway: Central device that connects the wireless network to the System 1 software, providing a secure data pathway.
Wireless Sensor Interface Modules (wSIM): The core components that interface with the sensors and transmit the data wirelessly. Each wSIM device has four channels that can be individually configured for various measurements.
Repeaters: Used to extend the range of the wireless network, ensuring that data from remote or hard-to-reach sensors can still be reliably transmitted back to the Manager Gateway.
Features:
Mesh Network Architecture: The system employs a self-forming mesh network, ensuring that each device (sensor or repeater) can communicate with other devices, automatically adjusting to changing network conditions for enhanced reliability.
Wireless Data Transmission: Eliminates the need for traditional wired connections, reducing installation complexity and allowing for easy expansion and relocation of monitoring points.
Four Channels per Device: Each wSIM device features four independent channels that can be configured to monitor different parameters, such as vibration and temperature.
Supported Sensors:
Vibration Sensors:
Compatible with Bently Nevada 200150, 200155, and 200157 accelerometers for vibration measurement.
Temperature Sensors:
Supports 200125 K-Type thermocouples as well as J, T, and E-Type thermocouples for temperature measurements.
Applications:
Condition Monitoring: The wireless system is ideal for monitoring rotating machinery, pumps, motors, and other equipment where real-time vibration and temperature data is critical to avoid failures and improve maintenance planning.
Retrofit and Expansion: The wireless nature of the system makes it particularly suited for retrofit projects in existing facilities where running new wires may be challenging or costly.
Remote Monitoring: The mesh network allows for monitoring of remote or hard-to-reach equipment, providing data even from machines located in hazardous or difficult-to-access areas.
Benefits:
Ease of Installation: No need for complex wiring, making the system faster to install and easier to scale.
Scalability: Easily add additional sensors or monitoring points without significant infrastructure changes.
Integration with System 1 Software: Direct integration with System 1 classic software version 6.90 or later allows for centralized data management and analysis, offering users real-time insights into equipment health.
