Static outputs:
These generally have a long service life, even with a high frequency of change Relay outputs.
These have a shorter service life than static outputs. When the output is frequentlychanged, it is subject to wear and its service life is shortened.
They can withstandoccasional higher voltage. Different system voltages can be accommodated on the sameboard. A certain dearee of inductive load can be accepted. Small load currents with lowvoltage (<40 V) can give contact problems.
In the control of two-phase motors (with a phase-displacing capacitor between the forward andreverse windings), a reverse voltage considerably higher than the system voltage can be induced.
